Day 1: Beijing arrive
Greet at the airport & transfer to their hotel. Night at Beijing.  

Day 2: Beijing (B, L, D)
Breakfast served at the hotel. This morning visit the enormous Tiananmen Square, which can accommodate over 1,000,000 people. Then, tour Beijing’s Forbidden City. Nearly 800 buildings and 9,999 rooms make up this amazing site. As you walk its grounds, marvel at the elegant palaces, pavilions, courtyards and gardens within its walls.

After lunch in a local restaurant, you visit the Summer Palace, a 700-acre complex of gardens and elegant buildings. Its Chinese name means Garden of Nurtured Harmony, and it was frequented by the Imperial Court to escape the bustle of Beijing. Walk its landscaped grounds, considered among the finest Chinese architectural gardens. This evening, enjoy a traditional Peking duck dinner. Then, you are treated to a performance of the Peking Opera, a fascinating cultural experience. 


Day 3: Beijing (B, L, D) 
Breakfast served at the hotel. First visit Jade Museum, then travel to the Badaling Hills to see one of the most impressive and best-preserved sections of the fabled Great Wall of China. Walk along its winding pathways and marvel at the excellent views. After lunch in a local restaurant, visit the Sacred Way, a tree-lined avenue guarded by massive sculptures of elephants, lions and camels. Tonight, taste some local specialties at dinner. 

 
Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an (B, L, D)
Today tour Old Beijing’s hutongs (narrow alleys) via rickshaw. Discover the sights and sounds of traditional Chinese life. Visit a silk carpet workshop for a demonstration of this ancient art. After lunch, fly to Xian, key city of the Tang Dynasty. From 618 to 907 A.D. this dynasty presided over one of China’s most glorious cultural periods. (CA1201;  Beijing/Xi'an;  1435/1625) 

This evening, enjoy a Dumpling dinner and then a stage show of the re-creation of the Tang Dynasty Complex of dancing and music. Overnight in Xian.  

 
Day 5: Xi'an - Chongqing (B, L, D)
After breakfast, tour the mausoleum where Emperor Qin Shi Huang was laid to rest over 2,000 years ago. See the more than 6,000 life-sized Terra Cotta Warriors, archers and infantrymen that were buried with him, from the walkways that provide a bird’s-eye view. Each man and horse is molded with his own distinct features. After lunch fly to Chongqing, gateway to the Yangtze. (HU7291; Xi'an/Chongqing; 1745/1855) You are welcomed aboard the Viking Century Sky with a Western meal, and your ship sails this evening. Overnight sailing  
 
Day 6: Xi'an – Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast, transfer to visit  the Shanxi Provincial Historical Museum, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Ancient City Wall built in Ming Dynasty. After sightseeing, transfer to catch the flight to Shanghai. (MU2336; Xi'an/Shanghai Pudong; 1835/2035) Greeted at Shanghai airport, then transfer to check in your hotel.  
 
Day 7: Shanghai (B, L)
Breakfast served at the hotel. A full day’s trip to the fabulous Shanghai Museum, which is one of the best museum in the country. The 400 year-old Yu Garden, which is famous for its rock gardens, pavilions, halls and ponds. The other spots of the day are Chinese Town Nanshi,the French concession - lilong and take a bird eye view of Shanghai at the top of Jinmao Hyatt. Overnight in Shanghai.  
 
Day 8: Shanghai (B, L)
Breakfast served at the hotel. A full day's trip to New World (Xitiandi), Oriental Tower, and take a Boat trip on the Huang Pu river about 40 minutes. And strolling along the Shanghai waterfront - the European styled Bund. Overnight in Shanghai.   
 
Day 9: Shanghai – Tongli - Suzhou (B, L)
Breakfast served at the hotel. Morning transfer to Suzhou. On the way, visit the famous Ancient Water Town - Tongli. On reaching Suzhou, check in at the hotel. The rest of day's trip to take a 40-minutes' boat trip on ancient canal.  
 
Day 10: Suzhou - Hangzhou (B, L)
Breakfast served at the hotel. Morning trip to the Humble Administrator's Garden (Zhuozheng Yuan), which was built in the early 16th century . The other spot of the day is the Embroidery Research Institute & Silk Factory.  After sightseeing, transfer to Hangzhou for overnight. (It’s about 3 hours’ driving from Suzhou to Hangzhou) 
 
Day 11: Hangzhou (B, L)
Breakfast served at the hotel. Morning transfer to Hangzhou to visit the famous West Lake, includes a cruise to view the scenic splendor of pagodas, pavilions and terraces, the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, the fish and lotus ponds at Flower Harbor and The Six Harmonies Pagoda (Liuhe Pagoda). Overnight at your Hotel. 
 
Day 12: Hangzhou - Shanghai (B, L)
Breakfast served at the hotel. Morning trip to Linying Temple & Flying Hill. After sightseeing, transfer to Shanghai for overnight.   
 
Day 13: Shanghai Depart (B)
Breakfast served at the hotel. Free until pick up to catch the flight out of Shanghai.
