10-Day Central Vietnam Itinerary
Follow the route from Hue’s imperial legacy to Phong Nha’s caves, Hoi An’s ancient town, My Son Sanctuary, and Danang’s white sand beaches.
Day 1: Hue, the Imperial City
Arrive at Phu Bai Airport, meet your private guide, then begin exploring Vietnam’s old capital with the Imperial Citadel and Tu Duc Royal Tomb. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before hotel check-in and leisure time.
Day 2: Hue – Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park
Take a boat trip on the Perfume River, visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Khai Dinh Royal Tomb, then drive around 3.5 hours to Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.
Day 3: Paradise Cave & Dark Cave
Explore Paradise Cave, the longest dry cave in Asia, with dramatic stalactites and limestone formations. After lunch, continue to Dark Cave for ziplining, swimming, mud baths, cave walking, and kayaking.
Day 4: Phong Nha – Hoi An Ancient Town
Travel by road to Hoi An, a scenic journey of around 6.5 hours. Arrive in the afternoon, check into your hotel, and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 5: Bay Mau Coconut Forest, My Son Sanctuary, Hoi An & Teh Dar Show
Ride a basket boat in Bay Mau Coconut Forest, explore My Son Sanctuary of the Champa Kingdom, enjoy lunch in Hoi An, walk through the ancient town, then watch the Teh Dar cultural show in the evening.
Day 6: Hoi An Cooking Class
Visit Hoi An’s colorful market, cruise along the Hoi An River to Red Bridge Cooking School, explore the herb garden, join a hands-on cooking lesson, and enjoy the dishes you prepare.
Day 7: Hoi An – Marble Mountains – Danang Beaches
Check out and drive to Danang. Visit Marble Mountains and the 200-year-old Non-Nuoc Marble carving village, then check into your beach hotel and relax by the white sand coast.
Day 8: Danang White Sand Beaches
Enjoy a full free day at leisure on Danang’s stunning beach, a paradise of white sand and gentle waves.
Day 9: Danang White Sand Beaches
Another relaxing beach day in Danang, ideal for swimming, spa time, seaside cafés, or simply unwinding before departure.
Day 9: Danang Departure
Breakfast at the hotel, check out at noon, then transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
