14-Day Singapore, Malaysia & Borneo Itinerary
Follow the route from Singapore to Malacca, Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, Kinabalu Park, Kinabatangan, Sepilok and back to Singapore.
Day 1: Singapore Arrive & Evening City Walking
Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the evening, enjoy a city walking tour to experience Singapore’s vibrant atmosphere, modern skyline and charming streets as the city comes alive after sunset. Afterward, savor a welcome dinner at the hotel and relax overnight in Singapore.
Day 2: Sentosa Beach & Evening Walking in Chinatown
Drive to Sentosa Island for a relaxing morning of sightseeing and beach time. In the afternoon, continue to Chinatown for a walking tour, visiting the Chinatown Heritage Centre, Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Yip Yew Chong mural near Thian Hock Keng Temple. Later, head to Marina Bay Sands SkyPark for panoramic skyline views and end with the Gardens by the Bay light and sound show.
Day 3: Road Trip to Malacca
At 10:00 AM, depart by road for the historic city of Malacca. Arrive around noon and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, experience this UNESCO World Heritage city with a 1-hour trishaw ride through colorful streets, colonial landmarks, murals and local neighborhoods. Continue with a relaxing Malacca River Cruise before hotel check-in.
Day 4: Malacca, a UNESCO World Heritage City
Enjoy a full-day tour of Malacca, exploring Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, the oldest traditional Chinese temple in Malaysia, Dutch Square with red colonial buildings, St. Paul’s Church with panoramic city views, and the remains of A’Famosa. Stroll along Jonker Street, the heart of Malacca’s Chinatown, with local delicacies, antique shops and lively heritage atmosphere.
Day 5: Road Trip to Kuala Lumpur
In the morning, take a scenic road trip to Kuala Lumpur and arrive around noon for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit KLCC Aquaria, one of Malaysia’s top marine attractions, then explore the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia, home to calligraphy, manuscripts, textiles and beautifully crafted artifacts reflecting Islamic heritage.
Day 6: Kuala Lumpur City Tour
Discover Kuala Lumpur’s icons including the Royal Palace, Independence Square, Victory Monument and photo stop at the Petronas Twin Towers. Visit Thean Hou Temple, one of Southeast Asia’s most impressive Chinese temples, and take photos at Saloma Bridge. Lunch is served locally, then enjoy free evening time for dinner in Bukit Bintang Shopping District.
Day 7: Fly to Langkawi
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Langkawi. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to lunch. In the afternoon, ride the Langkawi Cable Car above rainforest and mountain scenery, then experience the Langkawi Sky Bridge, a curved pedestrian bridge suspended high above the mountains with sweeping views of the island and Andaman Sea.
Day 8: Langkawi Catamaran Yacht Cruise
Check in at Royal Langkawi Yacht Club between 9:30 AM and 9:45 AM, then depart at 10:00 AM for a relaxing catamaran cruise. Enjoy coastal sightseeing, swimming, net jacuzzi, stand-up paddleboarding, BBQ satay and buffet lunch on board. Relax on the yacht and enjoy a photo session at Eagle Square before returning at 2:00 PM.
Day 9: Fly to Kota Kinabalu
Transfer to Langkawi Airport for your morning flight to Kota Kinabalu. Upon arrival at Kota Kinabalu International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and overnight in Kota Kinabalu.
Day 10: Kota Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Spring
Proceed to Kinabalu Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for cool mountain climate, rich flora and fauna and views of Mount Kinabalu. Continue to Poring Hot Spring for open-air Japanese-style baths, then experience the Treetop Canopy Walkway suspended 43 meters above ground and stretching 175 meters through the rainforest. Visit Kipungit Waterfall before hotel check-in.
Day 11: Bird and Mammal Life in the Rainforest
After check-out, journey to Sandakan through rustic countryside and villages toward Bilit Rainforest Lodge along the Lower Kinabatangan River. Transfer by boat from Bilit Jetty, enjoy a welcome drink and briefing, then lunch at Bilit Restaurant. At 4:00 PM, take a Kinabatangan River Cruise in search of proboscis monkeys, rare birds and other rainforest wildlife before dinner.
Day 12: Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre
Visit Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. Watch a documentary, then walk through lowland rainforest to the feeding platform to see orangutans at 10:00 AM. Continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, home to the world’s smallest bear species, recognized by their unique crescent-shaped chest markings. Overnight in Kota Kinabalu.
Day 13: Kota Kinabalu – Singaporebilitation Centre
Before departure, enjoy shopping time at Cocoa Boutique, where you can discover and purchase a wide variety of chocolate flavors for souvenirs or sweet treats. Transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport for your flight to Singapore. Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 14: Singapore Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out at noon, then transfer to the airport for your onward flight, ending your journey through Singapore, Malaysia and Borneo.
