Tong, the driver, was great too. His patience combined with his passion for Vietnam makes him a perfect companion if there is no guide. The whole family liked him a lot.

We loved the Mekong Tour and the drive from Hoi An to Hue as well as the tour there too.

The hotels were perfect - especially your recommended Paradise Resort in Hue with the most lovely pool I have ever seen. All three kids can now swim thanks to the length and size of it!

Just a few things you may just want to know -- the Mekong boat did not have a First Aid kit on board (We had to lend ours to another passenger) and we did visit a marble place in Dnang where the two guys had no protection for eyes or their lungs. (In the last few decades this has been one of a few significant changes to protect workers in Europe.)I did tell the guide I thought he should say something but if you mention it they may change it.
So thank you again for everything! I will recommend you to my friends if they visit Vietnam and hopefully we will come back soon!
