Daily Program
Charming Sapa Itinerary
Follow the mountain route from Hanoi to Lao Cai, Bac Ha, Sapa’s valleys, Ta Van homestay, Ta Phin village, and back to Hanoi.
Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi & Night Train to Sapa
Arrive in Hanoi, meet your driver at the airport, then transfer to the station for the overnight train journey to Sapa.
Day 2: Bac Ha Minority Market & Chay River Cruise
Arrive at Lao Cai early morning, travel to Bac Ha Market, meet ethnic groups such as Flower Hmong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay and Nung, then visit Trung Do village and cruise along the Chay River before returning to Sapa.
Day 3: Sapa – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho – Ta Van
Trek from Sapa through Cat Cat village, waterfalls, rice terraces and Y Linh Ho village, then continue through Muong Hoa Valley, Lao Chai and Ta Van for an overnight homestay with the Giay minority.
Day 4: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan
Walk through bamboo forest inside Hoang Lien National Park, visit Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dao minority, stop by a waterfall, enjoy lunch in nature, then transfer back to Sapa from Su Pan.
Day 5: Small Hmong Villages to Ta Phin & Night Train to Hanoi
Follow trails through gardens, pine forests, rice fields and Ma Tra village, visit a local school, continue to Ta Phin to learn about Black Hmong and Red Dao culture, then transfer to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi.
Day 6: Hanoi Departure
Arrive in Hanoi around 06:00AM, meet your driver at the station, then transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your onward flight.
