8-Day Nepal Itinerary

Follow the route from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park, Pokhara, Sarangkot, and back to Kathmandu.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet your representative, transfer to your hotel, and enjoy a welcome dinner with Nepali food, ethnic dance, and cultural music.

Day 2: Explore Kathmandu Valley

Discover Kathmandu Valley’s major natural, cultural, and historical sites, then meet for final trip preparation before spending the night in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Drive to Chitwan National Park

Drive west along the scenic Prithvi Highway and Trishuli River to Chitwan National Park. Visit a Tharu village and museum, enjoy riverside sunset, then watch a Tharu cultural show with bonfire.

Day 4: Wildlife Exploration in Chitwan

Spend the day exploring Chitwan’s dense jungle by elephant ride, dugout canoe, jeep safari or jungle walk. Visit the elephant breeding center, elephant camp, and possibly Bis Hajar Taal.

Day 5: Drive to Pokhara & Phewa Lake

Start with bird-watching, then drive from Chitwan toward Pokhara through hills, rivers, vegetation and local settlements. Arrive in Pokhara, explore the lakeside area, enjoy boating on Phewa Tal and visit Barahi Temple.

Day 6: Explore Pokhara Valley

Visit Davi’s Fall, Gupteswor Cave, Bindabasini Temple, Seti River Gorge, museums, and enjoy a lake boating trip with views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna. Optional visits include Shanti Stupa, Mahendra Cave and Begnas Lake.

Day 7: Sarangkot Sunrise & Drive to Kathmandu

Wake early and drive to Sarangkot for sunrise views over Phewa Tal, Suikhet Valley, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre, then return to Pokhara and drive back to Kathmandu for a farewell dinner.

Day 8: Kathmandu Departure

Breakfast at your hotel, then transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
